Colin Rickert is an AI specialist, data scientist, and software architect with over a decade of experience designing analytical systems and machine learning applications across energy markets, data science, and emerging technologies. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Vermont, where his research focused on machine learning and data mining.

Colin has held senior analytics and data science roles at organizations including Power Factors, General Electric, Liberty Power, and Brookfield Renewable Partners, developing advanced machine learning models, large-scale data systems, and forecasting tools used in renewable energy operations and asset performance optimization.

At the Center for Real Dialogue, Colin leads AI development for the LevelUp platform and Real Dialogue chatbot, designing LLM-based systems that support constructive dialogue, deliberation, and conflict facilitation. His work focuses on building scalable AI architectures that translate the principles of Real Dialogue into practical digital tools for education, mediation, and civic engagement.
